What the Return to the Office Will Look LikeOur Remote Working Survey Results
In the post-COVID-19 world, the return to the office is a topic that is on the agenda of all businesses as their staff slowly start returning to normal. While many employees will continue to work from home in line with the official advice from the government, there are some scenarios where employees need to be back in the office as soon as possible.
We recently surveyed our customers to find out what their thoughts are about the return to the office, and the common issues that are faced by organisations. Some of the key takeaways from the survey include:
- 59% of organisations don’t expect 100% of their staff to be back in the office within the next year.
- The amount of homeworkers has increased by 80% since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in February/March 2020.
- 63% of organisations who responded to our survey said they are looking to reduce their office footprint in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic by taking advantage of home working.
- 11% of employers were not aware that they are responsible for the health and safety of their home workers.
